Zero Degrees

frostbite crawls over my mind
what if I freeze here alone?
I'm cold and waiting sorely
to find another home

fingers chilled and spirits killed
the snow waits for me tonight
I wish I had this dark cover
to hide under all the time

some night in quiet town
we can chill out underground
I'll bring the cocoa and gloves
you can break the icicles
we'll fall down on icy roads
and stay til the sleet subsides
you know me better than anyone
you'll stay with me below zero degrees

so down it's sickening
don't tempt me inside
so cold it's weakening
snowflakes stick in my eyes

lips blued and thoughts stilled
my tears are freezing in place
exposed to the raw wind chill
it whips my hair and stings my face

some night in quiet town
we can chill out underground
I'll bring the cocoa and gloves
you can break the icicles
we'll fall down on icy roads
and stay until the sleet subsides
you know me better than anyone
you'll stay with me below zero degrees.
