She

she falls
plummets down
travels faster
underground
drowning in depths
of radiant eyes
sinking fast
and smiling wide.

whispering,
"mister, please,
turn around.
no one I find
ever wants to be found."
but she's caught him for now.

she soars
rising high
riding waves
to reach the sky
sails aloft
toward crystal sands
tidal waves
can't break her stance.

whispering,
"mister, please
don't turn away.
no one I love
ever wants to be loved."
but she loved him then.

she falls
drops below
going places
she thinks he'll go
sucked beneath
the surface creeps
and when he struggles
she only weeps.

she fell
letting go
of her beloved
and her handholds.
wished that he
would say good-bye
as she sinks fast
for love tonight.
