I left my things all over the floor
and went to sleep
too tired to take them out of the packaging
I dreamed about blood all night
I wondered when I woke up
if it said anything about them or
if it just said something about me

demons ate apples in my dream
and I love apples
does that make me evil now?
snow white did too
and all it did was make her sleep

I'm scared for my safety
when I step in the shower
and sink to the floor
will I be able to get up again?
but the water's so warm
do I even want to?
but I left my things all over the floor

devils ate apples in my dreams
but they dripped blood
and I love apples
and I drip blood
does that make me evil now?
sleeping beauty did too
and all it did was make her sleep

when I fall asleep
fairy tale princesses get jealous
they try to rouse me with their demons
so I won't try to dream behind their backs
they give me cinderella's chores
leave their things all over my floor
it doesn't say anything about me.
